After completing his high school education in his hometown, Sinop, Salih Yıldırım started his career by graduating from Anadolu University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics in 1989. He retired in 2018 after working in Purchasing, Human Resources, Accounting & Finance and IT departments in various institutions and organizations.
His interest in photography and video began in the 80s. During his high school and university years, he reinforced his interest in photography with video in later years. He became a member of BÜFOD (Büyükçekmece Photography Association) in 2011 and SIFAD (Sinop Photography and Cinema Amateurs Association) in 2014 and took part in the management of the association.
During this period, he wanted to develop his interest in photography and video and graduated from the Department of Photography and Videography in 2014. He received complementary photography, video and graphic design training at different educational institutions.
He took part in many group photography exhibitions with associations and various institutions. In addition to photography, he was interested in video and worked on short films and documentaries. He gave training and seminars on basic photography, advanced photography techniques, short films, video shooting techniques, digital photo editing and video editing within many institutions and associations. He worked as project manager in various photography projects.
